FOREST. The mere existence of the term preludes the fact that humankind has defined it under its agreed upon meaning. The semantics of the word are removed from what the thing actually is, therefore, the FOREST does not exist without humans projecting meaning on to it. This is exemplified by the idealized image of nature on the left, romanticized without humans, and in contrast to the reality that to capture these images, human presence must be there to record them.
