Sauter Feinmechanik GmbH Metzingen. The Trifix alignment system developed by Sauter is based on the classic VDI interface and extends the possibilities in decisive areas. Already available tooling can be used without any limitation. With the Trifix-Bars attached to the tooling we obtain a high tool change accuracy. Due to the inclined surface on the shoulder which engages in the Trifix® groove of the tool disc we achieve the repeat accuracy. Due to the incorporated borings for the additional fastening of the tooling a higher rigidity for heavy-duty machining is achieved. While inserting the tool holder the shoulders engage in the groove. Repeat accuracies in one position within 0.006mm are achieved by tightening with a torque wrench while the tooling is changed. When changing the tooling from one position to another, we achieve an accuracy of 0.01mm. Trifix offers an additional fastening possibility for heavy duty machining by surface mounting of the tooling with 4 screws. Therefore we not only cope with the growing requirements during milling operations in a lathe but also with fast and ultra-precise tool change. Set-up times and machine idle times thus caused are materially reduced by the Trifix®-System. More Informations here sauter-feinmechanik.com/index.html
