MW #353b: November is NATIVE AMERICAN HISTORY Month, and a chance to engage the rich traditions that continue to define Indigenous People in America. Musicworks director Jesse Neuman leads us through an exploration of Native American peoples' often stereotyped relationship to nature, the concept and practice of a "Drum" group, and original collaboration with Indigenous poetry. Featuring music by A Tribe Called Red, images from Standing Rock, and poetry by Diane Burns.
