Jose Pena

Jose Pena is 16-year-old Dominican right fielder that signed with the Milwaukee Brewers on July 2nd for $400,000.

He is working out in this video at a showcase/game set up by Edgar Mercedes in Santo Domingo. The at-bat shown at the end is against a pitcher from Team Canada. In his first at-bat, not captured on video, he hit a frozen rope home run to left center field off of probable 2nd-3rd round pick in this June's MLB Draft, Canadian left-hander Jake Eliopoulos.
