Susan Ryder: Looking Through | Panter & Hall

Contemporary British artist Susan Ryder talks about her painting process and what art means to her ahead of her solo exhibition 'Looking Through' at Panter & Hall.

Sue is one of Britain’s best known contemporary impressionist painters. Her evocative English interiors have a lasting appeal and over the decades have attracted a truly international following. Her fluidity of brush work almost seems unconscious in its capturing of an English summer garden or the play of lamp light over an evening interior. A parallel career as a portrait painter has seen her commissioned to paint HM The Queen for the RAC in Pall Mall and Diana, Princess of Wales in her wedding dress for HRH The Prince of Wales.
