Commissioned by The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission for the Bladensburg Waterfront Visitor's Center, this short film tells the story of the Battle of Bladensburg that took place in August of 1814. Although it was a defeat for the American Forces and allowed the British to occupy Washington City, this hard lesson helped prepare the defenses in Baltimore to repel the British a few weeks later. Computer generated sequences and music were provided by Broken Switch Studios.
