The apparition is a fantastic story in its purest form.
We decided to take a discontinuous and exuberant story to its last stance, to give it credibility, so that a marginal narrative from a psychiatric institution could take shape. We applied all the technical resources available to this fable, and even thus the spectator is forced to rearrange the seemingly unconnected fragments into an epic adventure set in outer space. In it, the author and his colleagues are granted special powers out of specific traits that others might have called “special abilities”, or even, quite straightforwardly, plain “incapacities”.
The result resembles a celebration of the irrational and the uncanny that inhabit a fragile, unapproachable, different world. The mission for the spectator is simple: to momentarily become a witness to an ephemeral
prodigy of the imagination.
