While on vacation at Sharbot Lake Provincial Park, I went out to the trails to do some filming. The trails run in a loop between Black Lake and Sharbot Lake and there's some really great views to be had there. Even though I've been camping at this park since I was really young, I always find the Canadian Shield scenery there to be awesome.
Back when I was a kid, you used to be able to see out pretty far when up at the lookouts, and there were some great views to be had, but the trees have grown pretty well over the last 25 years obscuring most of the view in the summer. Now, the best views to be had now are the lower parts of the trail system, which takes you along the shores.
Filmed August 4th, 2012 on my Canon XA10.
