In June 2012, the Australian theatre companyThe Black Lung Theatre and Whaling Firm traveled to Timor-Leste (East Timor) to begin work on the country's first International contemporary theatre collaboration DOKU RAI with Timorese artists from Galaxy and Liurai Fo'er. The work was created over two months in a remote and abandoned colonial hotel on the island of Atauro, North of Dili.
