This beatbox video was made by kids an ABC Open Top End music video workshop, as part of the Wakakirri Festival 2012, at the community of Barunga in the Northern Territory.

Participating kids (and adults) chose a beat. They then rehearsed and recorded vocal and video samples into an app called Vidrhythm, which rendered these handful of videos.

Once we ironed out a few bugs, the whole process took about 15 minutes per video!

The idea of the day was to try out accessible, engaging and fun technology. We hope you enjoy it.
