While searching for food in a nuclear desert, a drifter is confronted by another equally hungry wanderer. Unfortunately, in this world even the formerly pacifist must commit gruesome acts in order to survive.
This is part of a collaborative experiment between me and my friend and classmate Gus Bendinelli. We sought to find out how we, as two unique filmmakers from two different backgrounds (he from still photography, me from design and writing), would take the same general story and each make it our own. This is my version of our post-apocalyptic story.
I was happy to have Daytime Emmy Award-winning costume designer Mary Iannelli (maryiannelli.com/) and TV and film composer Wayne Boon (wayneboon.net/) as part of my crew.
Filmed on a Canon XA-H1.
