In July 2012, ThinkYoung launched it's second edition of the Entrepreneurship Summer School Brussels.
The programme was held at the Science 14 Atrium in Brussels and hosted 72 participants of ages 17-29, with a majority falling within the category of 19-23.
Following the event, Students departed content and refreshed, with increased experience, knowledge and confidence in their own abilities as future entrepreneurs. Many of whom who had pre-existing doubts about using entrepreneurship as an alternative to a corporate career were inspired and eager to leap out of their comfort zones, creating social and economic value for the wider community.
The students represented 24 different nationalities in total, providing a great cultural mix. This alone provided an enriching and thought provoking environment for students. They were able to connect with other likeminded individuals, sharing experiences, ideas and doubts. We would hope that such culturally mixed experiences provides students valuable experience to draw upon in the latter stages of their business activities.
