Sarah's digital story is about her aspiration to be a surgeon. Her motivation for this is because she was born with a hole in her heart.

This digital story was facilitated by Alex Henry in workshop partnership with the Remembering the Past Resourcing the Future Project (memoriesnorthtyne.org.uk) and North Tyneside VODA's Summer of a Lifetime programme (voda.org.uk). The project was funded by Arts Council England as part of the People's Record project (peoplesrecord.org.uk/).

The People’s Record was initiated by the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (MLA) in 2008. It is collecting the story of the nations mood and feelings about the upcoming Olympics and Paralympics and aims to make sure all voices are heard. It will create a record of the impact of Games on people across the nation.
