New York City is the ultimate concrete jungle, perhaps the last place on Earth that you would expect to find wildlife. But this megalopolis is home to an amazing array of birds of prey with a fan club of nature nuts who watch them, name them and care for them when they get sick. This short documentary takes viewers into the lives of James, Donna, Edwin, Cathy & Bobby as they follow 'their' birds through the ups and downs of a New York summer.
"Wild New York" won an Honorable Mention at the 2010 International Wildlife Film Festival in Missoula, Montana, and is displayed here for non-commercial portfolio/self-promotional purposes by the director-cameraperson, Adam Welz.
