A group of five fabulous and fast sports cars left Glenwood Springs for Steamboat via Meeker. We stopped at the Meeker Hotel and the Meeker Museum, where we got to see the West Point Uniform of our old friend George Wear. Next time we'll get some pictures of your uniform George. Next we went to Steamboat where we had dinner at the famous Riggio's Italian Restaurant. Here the mussels in a cream garlic sauce are out of this world. The other dishes were exquisite as well. The next day we came back to Glenwood Springs via Gore Pass - an incredibly winding beautiful drive in these hot cars, and no traffic. After a stop at Toponas we returned to Glenwood Springs. The Toponas gas station and convenience store is a must do.
Thanks to all for a wonderful trip.
