Lani Ohana Ukulele Group at the Japanese SDA Church at Loma Linda, California was formed by a few amateur Ukulele enthusiasts. Lani Ohana is a Hawaiian word and means "Family of God". They first met on the first Sabbath of 2012, (January7, 2012) after church. The group has grown since then and now includes one guitar player, one base guitar player, one box drummer and a pianist in addition to upto 10 ukulele players. Practice sessions start at 1:30 PM on Sabbath and goes for 60 to 90 minutes. There is no restriction on membership.
