Michigan Central Station, in Detroit's Corktown neighborhood is one of the most famous pictures of urban decay and ruin in America. It stands a a monument to the city declaring the need for restoration. RECH Detroit isn't trying to restore MCS, but we are adopting this neighborhood that houses this structure and trying to make a difference in the lives of it's residence there. Corktown is an "emerging" neighborhood in Detroit, but many of the residents are still living below the poverty level. We are hoping to provide food, clothing and basic necessities to people in this community who need them. Please visit reachupreachout.com and join with us today.
