St. Francis of Assisi says "preach always and use words only when absolutely necessary." he tamed the wolf and said that "what you proclaim with your lips must be even more whole in your heart" and he also said at the sermon to the birds "above all the grace and gifts we are given the greatest is that of overcoming self." "for it is in giving that we receive" said he, and "true progress quietly and persistently moves along without notice" said he. "The deeds you do may be the only sermon some persons will hear today" said he, (but what about tomorrow?) "For it is in giving that we receive and it is in bleeding that we are born to eternal life." said the Assisian "For it is in giving that we receive and it is in burning that we are born to eternal life." said the friar to the sphere and the sphere unto the pilgrim:
"IT IS IN BURNING THAT WE ARE BORN INTO ETERNAL LIFE" said the friar to the pilgrim..
