Changes to our planet are putting people, plants, and animals at risk and science tells us that rising temperatures, rising seas, floods, and extreme weather are only going to increase going forward. These impacts threaten our food, water, health and safety, and the costs could cripple entire economies.
Nature is a critical tool for responding to and protecting people from climate change impacts. This video shows the work The Nature Conservancy is doing in Grande Isle Louisiana to restore the gulf coast in order to prevent flooding, loss of habitat, and reduce the impacts of extreme weather on people and their property.
