This film is about an amazing cyclical farming system in China that combines silk production with carp farming. It also delves into the symbolic value of carp in the local culture, and reflects on the difficult choices we face when we achieve our goals.
The WWF are currently launching a project to draw attention to China's low footprint solutions. The Chinese currently produce over 10 million tons of carp using these ingenious methods, but what of the future? What's on the horizon? Will big businesses move in? Will the sustainable practices disappear?
