Mayuri and Hemal's wedding took place in Rome, Georgia. The quote in the opening of this film is Mayuri's favorite by Thich Nhat Hanh, a Vietnamese Buddhist monk. This quote embodies the deep found respect that Mayuri & Hemal have for their traditions and families.
Over the course of their four day festivities, Mayuri and Hemal's love was celebrated by all of their loved ones. It was a celebration that this small town will never forget! The ceremony was filled with excitement as the Baraat brought Hemal to the entrance and tears flowed as Mayuri had her farewell with her family during the Vidaai. The long runway was covered in red and accented by floating candles on each side as it led to a crystal Mandap. As the evening approached, everyone came together again to jubilate the newly married couple... It was a night overflown with laughter and dancing!
