'Not on My Watch' was created in Rwanda in 2004, as the Aegis Trust prepared the Kigali Memorial Centre for its opening the 10th anniversary of the start of the 1994 genocide. Designed primarily to address journalists then arriving from around the world to cover the anniversary, it offers glimpses into the human tragedy of the genocide, the pain which remains with the survivors ten years on and the challenges that lie in the rebuilding of the country. Annie Lennox kindly donated use of her track 'A Thousand Beautiful Things', which lends immense poignancy to the film.
