Description. Burbuja is a Spanish composer/singer/performer: her whispery voice is accompanied by an ensemble made up of ticking clocks, scissors, an egg whisk and distant thunder. Like original music masterpieces, Burbuja's sounds are left to exude their inherent, natural beauty within a song format. Burbuja's delicate and deeply personal mix of realism and fantasy matches with her image. Every time she performs, she dresses in white leather, thus melding with the videos she projects during performances.
Role. Burbuja's image: unique dress design, styling, hair and makeup.
Use. Burbuja has been playing many concerts in Italy and Spain. She has composed music to accompany the sculptures of Lucy Orta at the Venice biennale and soundtracks for videos and installations by the artists of FABRICA. She has published her first album in 2007 for Station 55, with Cristian Vogel as a producer.
