Elizabeth Wang, an artist, convert to the Catholic Faith, and wheelchair-user describes what powerful help she gained from the spirituality of St Thérèse - especially in suffering.
St Thérèse of Lisieux is an important saint in the Catholic Church. She was drawn to God from a very young age and was only 15 when she entered a Carmelite convent. She lived a life of humility and simplicity, living out her "little way of spiritual childhood" with the community. Her short life was also one of suffering and she died of tuberculosis in 1897 at the age of 24.
