To premiere this fun little piece of cinema, we hosted an event, Something Blue, at our studio. We screened the film, along with a new marketing project for Do Good Real Estate to 100s of our favorite friends and family! The coolest part of the event, though, was the raffle we put together! We were thrilled to accept donations from a wide-variety of local businesses to attract rafflers to donate at the event. All of those proceeds are going straight to the United Way of the Cape Fear Area‘s Emerging Leaders affinity group. We have been involved with United Way for some time now and recently finished a promo film for them, as well. Adam and Austin also just accepted positions as the new Media Chairs on the Emerging Leaders board. We’re happy to announce that the first official Emerging Leaders event raised $1,000 for the organization! Thank you to everyone that came out, donated items, bought raffle tickets, and celebrated with us. Below you’ll see some of our favorite moments from the photo booth at the event.

We’d like to send special thanks to Oliver Mellan of Videoways. Oliver worked with us on the script. He also directed and edited the film. We feel very fortunate to have worked with him on this project and hope to continue working on more ventures in the future. Oliver is truly a one-of-a-kind filmmaker and we’re super proud to call him our director and friend.

In no particular order, THANK YOU: 128 South, Bellamy Mansion, Brooklyn Arts Center, Moxie Floral Design, bloke., Camille’s Closet, The British Taxi, Tavernay’s Jewelers, Hot Pink Cake Stand, Active Entertainment, Kickstand Events, Silverceiling Hair and Makeup, Olivia Giachino, Oliver Mellan, Dave Azor, Christy Grantham, Mike Lewis, Dorothy Rankin, Lee Lowrimore, Gina Gambony, Charlie Robertson, Do Good Real Estate, My Wonderful Machine, Planet Logo, Wilmington Wine, Front Street Brewery, Aqua Fedora, TZQ Hair, Wilmington Business Journal, United Way of the Cape Fear Area, The RiverRoom, Chelsea Reeves, David Brooks, Cape Fear Formal Wear, Adrienne O’Docharty, and Lance Moncada.
