The Sigur Ros song Dauðalogn evokes a sense of longing, of wandering somewhere vast and sacred. Yet there is also something sweet and pure there. This film is a zero-budget, no-crew experiment with stop-motion. I wanted to see what kind of character arc we could evoke with an inanimate object. So we set out on a road trip, just me and the bear, through the deserts and mountains of CA and OR with a one-man tent, tripod and a Canon 60D.
