The next day he (John the Baptist) saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1.29 ESV)

William Taylor, our Rector, explores fifteen verses from John’s gospel, chapter 1 - from verse 19 , “And this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, ‘Who are you?’.” - to verse 34.

He takes verse 29 as his key verse and discusses the authority of Jesus.

William gave this talk at our lunchtime-meeting, here at St Helen’s Bishopsgate, on Tuesday, 11th September, 2012.
