coupling pads with note output has been batted around for a few months between me, @mlogger, and @MatthewAshmore. so, the 201223 update features both MIDI and Just Friends as destinations. it's super fun!
here, Just Friends is being sequenced by the same arps that are also playing back recorded audio *of* Just Friends. this creates a doubling that gives new pockets to explore -- when playing pads, you end up simultaneously recalling the past while creating new voicing.
