This is the second of two videos and deals with the road transportation of the World record-breaking Vimy through the Brooklands Estate and into Brooklands Museum.
Background: This first video covers the very last flight of the Brooklands Vimy replica from the Top Gear Hanger at Dunsfold to its finally resting place at Brooklands Museum. It happened on the 15 of November in 2009, at the end of a fifteen year career, during which it had flown from England to Australia, as well as England to South Africa and crossing the Atlantic from the USA to Ireland. After it had landed we had to dismantle it Transport it and reassemble it in the place where the first Vimys had been built. The work was carried out by Museum Volunteers and BREAST (Brooklands Recovery Engineering And Salvage Team)
