Children of the Perestroika is a highly appreciated trilogy, winner of many international awards, capturing sequences of life from the Russia of these past 20 years.
“Killing Girls”, by far the most appreciated film in the trilogy, reiterates an old debate in a shocking dramatic note: the pros and cons of pregnancy termination. The halls of a clinic in St. Petersburg could tell stories that our mind and soul refuse to accept, in a game where life and death sometimes depend on a simple ‘yes’ or ‘no.
