Two Sides of the Window is a site specific project, exploring the concept of “home” as seen through the eyes of residents in Woodberry Down estate. It’s a multimedia installation, lightening up characters and objects of an estate about to be transformed.
The project started questioning where and how the connections between people and their houses stand, and found in Woodberry Down Regeneration the context necessary to investigate this.
The research was developed through a series of interviews with the residents of the estate, which turned to provide the main audio and visual material of the installation.
The project took place in the flats block of the estate, and consisted in a narrative path presenting an interpretation of the audio, videos and images gathered during the four months of site research.
