On Sept 8, 2012, the Mid-Atlantic Climbers organized a trail work weekend, designed to alleviate the erosion occurring at the top of the Ilchester crag outside of Ellicott City, Maryland. 30-40 volunteers turned out to lend manual labor. Large logs and enormous boulders were moved into place, fill rocks and dirt added to secure the framing, and a new trail link now connects the bottom of the stairs trail to the unofficial around-the-hill trail. The video covers the trail work events that spanned about 3 hours of real time.
