Kuya Raymi is the festivity of fertility and femininity. It is organized each year in a different indigenous community in the valley of Otavalo, Province of Imbabura, Ecuador by the FICI, the Federation of Indigenous Peoples and Peasants of Imbabura. In 2011, it was celebrated in the indigenous community of El Cercado.
