MODERNO ITALIANO FESTIVAL trailer and brand materials were created by the creative direction class of Ex'Pression College in Emeryville, CA, home to Pixar.

The festival is a free, three-day event celebrating contemporary Italian design, food, and film presented by HOT ITALIAN, Peroni, FIAT, and Baci.

The festival includes an Italian design installation curated by Lumens Light + Living featuring Alessi, Kartell, and Foscarini furniture, lighting, and accessories. Other design elements include the Fiat street team and a fashion show featuring Italian bicycles on Friday.

The “Mangia Bevi Mercato” offers Italian cheese, wine, and beer tastings including Galbani cheeses, Baci chocolates, Peroni beer and various Italian wine
s, as well as locally-made products in the Italian-style, such as Fra’ Mani salumi and Corto Olive Oil.

The outdoor, bike-in theater is set-up across the street at Fremont Park with free bike valet parking. Bring blankets or chairs, and grab a pizza, panini, and salads before the films, or gelato and dessert pizza afterwards!
