"Anhelo [RGB]” es un acercamiento al trabajo de Irene Cruz a través de los ojos del escritor y director D. Eceolaza.
Esta corta instalación de vídeo busca representar la transformación que el año 2020 ha supuesto y la forma en que nos ha hecho sentir.
El concepto tiene sus raíces en el uso del espectro de colores aditivos (RGB) enfrentados a lo natural, donde elementos físicos
como los minerales o el agua de una lágrima cobran una importancia casi mística. En el centro, el cuerpo humano como una gran escultura,
delicada y vulnerable, perdida en una naturaleza a oscuras, casi invisible. Un mundo interior sólo alcanzable a través de esa mirada nueva que tanto anhelamos.
"Anhelo [RGB]” (Longing) is an approach to Irene Cruz’s work through the eyes of screenwriter and director Daniel Eczeolaza.
This brief video installation aims to represent the transformation that the year 2020 represented and how it made us feel.
The concept is rooted on the use of the additive colors spectrum (RGB) against nature, where physical elements such as minerals or the water forming a teardrop have almost a mystical importance. In the spotlight, the human body, like a grand sculpture, delicate and vulnerable, lost in the darkness of the wild, almost invisible. An inner world only reachable through that new gaze we long for.
