AR FALL/WINTER 2012 is about the different combinations of pieces, textures and materials that are unexpected, but instinctual. In a continuation of its theme from spring, AR provides the blank canvas on which one can develop his own personal story.
Otherwise basic staples are made luxe in deerskin, cashmere and double-faced wool; each looked sharpened with impeccable craftsmanship and tailoring. Inside, garments are softened with smooth linings and delicate materials to ensure the utmost comfort and ease of wear.
As with each collection, several key pieces are multi-functional – a technical waterproof parka transforms into an M1 flight jacket and a tailored blazer has a removable knit collar – further enabling the wearer to create a unique story.
Masculine colors – black, navy and charcoal – are warmed up with touches of taupe, burgundy and hunter green. AR’s signature camouflage lining, taped seams and genuine horn buttons add a high-end polish to each classic piece, which transcend seasonal trends to become the foundation of a timeless wardrobe.
