This is a montage of bits of our game, City Scrawlaz. It's a graffiti game made by five artists over eight weeks. It was our collective intention to make a game that was fun, unexploitative and relevant to us. The idea is that you start off with no money, no respect and only a couple of designs and a pen. From there you have to fill up your blackbook hit up some spots and get new paints. Most of the interactive areas are billboards and corporate advertising. The bigger your tags, the more coverage of these areas and the bigger respect. We madethe game was made three years ago just for fun but since Mark Ecko and Atari have released that piece of shit exploitative game I felt like it was worth showing people this. You can download the game if you're interested. It's free of course and made entirely in Flash so it should work on most machines.
The game stars a Elph, a local legend of the Scottish scene and a fine artist indeed. He kindly allowed us to use his name, designs and identity in the game.
