Ramiro Losada Amor is a Building Engineer, Architect and Master Architectural Design, Theory and Methods of projects (ETSAM) with honours. Following his scholarship studies at the University Lombart Lambert (Belgium), he moved on to work experience in the field of Design, Architecture, and Urbanism in Madrid (Rueda Pizarro Architects), London (Alejandro Zaera, FOA) and Rotterdam (Mecanoo Architecten). Currently he is researching for PhD at ESTAM, titled “Documentary Film Architecture: Construction of the Contemporary Non-fiction for XXI century Architecture”. In 2007 he founded Ramiro Losada Architects based in Madrid and Caceres, and has 3 areas of focus:
>>> Experimental architecture, with award such as Winner of Interior Architecture award with Iniciarte-ARCO. Saloni Architecture Awards.
>>> University teaching. Since 2007 he is Professor of Architectural Design at UEM-Architecture Madrid. He was vising Professor at Technische Universität Braunschweig and Architecture Design Sciences Artesis, Antwerp.
>>> Audiovisual documentation about Architecture including several interviews with architects international prestige such as Herzog de Meuron, Toyo Ito or Mansilla Tuñon o audiovisual documentation of buildings such as Canal Theater (Navarro Baldeweg), Benidorm beach promenade (Carlos Ferrater) or Spanish Pavillion for Expo Shaghai 2010(EMBT).
He is founder partner of Studio Banana TV and Studio Banana Asociación Cultural.
