This is a train ride thru Manhattan in the mid50s.
I mangled the footage in Artmatic V-Track to turn it into a real trip.
Music was inspired by the classic pitchrise that the NYC trains produce when they start. I tuned that to concert pitch and based the soundtrack around it. I also included the squeal of the breaks and some public announcements. Soundtrack was produced on my Macpro using Logic8 and the sounds are coming from Omnisphere, Stylus RMX and Trilogy for bass and Pianoteq for the vibes.
Additional drumming is courtesy of Toontracks EZdrummer using the wonderful Jazz expansion with the beats of the great David Haynes.
