Abrahamen - The Abraham Project: Time has come for a strong social movement to empower respect, tolerance and openmindedness. This is the teaser for a new interreligious, integrative and independent initiative to build a global bottom up campaign for a abraham dome, a abraham exhibition and a abraham oratorio. 2bd1 develops this global initiative to support the interreligious dialogue between the religions with the same roots.
Abrahamic religions (also Abrahamism) are the monotheistic faiths emphasizing and tracing their common origin to Abraham or recognizing a spiritual tradition identified with him. Abraham plays a prominent role in Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Throughout history mankind has fought battles in the name of god, mostly driven by one of the monotheistic religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam. All three Abrahamic religions have the potential, on the one hand for violent fanaticism and, on the other, for enlightenment and tolerance to live togehter in peace.

The Name Abrahamen is a portmanteau word from Abraham and Amen, a affirmation that is used in all abrahamitic religions. Its used in Judaism dates back to its earliest texts. It has been generally adopted in Christian worship as a concluding word for prayers and hymns. In Islam, it is the standard ending to Dua (supplication) and the "Opening" chapter of the Qur'an.
