Matthew Drinkwater from the Fashion Innovation Agency in London, who is known as a world-renowned expert in emerging technologies and their application to the creative industries started the last summit day with his inspiring keynote “A virtual future for fashion”. He demonstrated that we are going to a completely new fashion ecosystem, where fashion does not need to be physical to be real. The summit continued with a review from the Pop Up Think Tank on Fashion Product, presented by Marte Hentschel from Sqetch. For the demonstration part, Marjorie Hernandez de Vogelsteller presented Lukso, a platform for the next wave of mainstream Blockchain applications. Following that, Amber Jae Slooten shared insights about The Fabricant, a digital fashion house leading the fashion industry towards a new sector of digital-only clothing. In the closing panel the design and innovation consultant Dr. Anne Prahl discussed with Leslie Holden from The Digital Fashion Group and Femke Zijlstra the theme „Re-focusing fashion products – driven by user demands and system transformation“. The panel was moderated by Geraldine de Bastion.
