Factory Seconds: Representation, Repair and Freedom

The seminar looks at the afterlives of oppression in Cape Town. Dr O’Connell considers the question of archives, violence and freedom through the framework of Cape Town factory workers. Ms Wolff thinks through question of architecture in an endeavour to think about bodies, space, silences and modernity in Cape Town.
