'After Stevie Wonder and Sun Bear' is a re-enactment of the 1979 documentary “Journey Through the Secret Life of Plants”. Here, a dancer explores a Dutch “volkstuin”, or community garden. While the original film’s soundtrack was made by Stevie Wonder, here the music is by Malcolm Cecil, inventor of the TONTO. The TONTO was revolutionary for its time in that it was able to produce nearly any sound electronically.
This work was exhibited at TENT (Rotterdam, Holland) and the Municipal Archives of Tournai, Belgium.
