This house is interpretation of old Bohinj style and is located in the village of Stara Fužina near Bohinj Lake area which belongs to a protected area of the Triglav National Park. With its neutral façade and classical construction technology, acceptance characteristics of the local architecture and enters into dialogue with the surrounding typology. Thoughtful, with carefully crafted details and selected materials / wood - stone - concrete - glass /, the house is almost merges with the environment. Contemporary alpine chalet, 105 m2, has important elements of sustainable construction. Despite the application of local, natural materials a large corner window on the ground floor is oriented towards the south to accept the winter sun. It have good home isolation and tank to collect rainwater from the roof.
