“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” – Matthew 26:18-20
Matthew recorded Jesus's call to action in the Great Commission. Jesus commands us to go and make disciples. But what does that look like? He didn't call us to be fans or scholars; He called us to follow Him, to learn, to obey, and then bring others along the same journey. To make a disciples, we need to live a life-on-life relationship with those around us that is personal, relational, and intentional.
At Pure Heart, we are making this a critical part of who we are. We are training up Discipleship Coaches to come alongside individuals and walk through life together. If you are interested in becoming a Discipleship Coach, let us know at pureheart.org/get-involved.
