Peter Picone—Wildlife Biologist, Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP)—will share his insights into enhancing and creating our landscapes with native plants that attract and benefit wildlife. Every small space of meadow helps the world! He will illustrate his knowledge through his beautiful slides and video outtakes of native plant and wildlife interactions. We will also learn about the marvelous larger meadows that DEEP creates all across Connecticut, serving our wildlife and pollinators ! Peter has been working in the field of wildlife habitat enhancement for over 30 years.
