IMPOSSIBLE ALONE is an interactive sound installation created by Tim Murray-Browne and Tiff Chan where music, movement and video-games collide. A vast soundscape awaits discovery, yet can only be accessed through synchronised movement between two people. The experience and advancement through the different, developing worlds of sound relies on the strength of their physical allegiance. They may start to provoke each other to move in unfamiliar ways - how far can you persist in the uncharted journey of shared creation?
This video, shot by Taka Goto, shows Tiff Chan and Jan Lee interacting with the work. More details about the project may be found at timmb.com/impossiblealone .
IMPOSSIBLE ALONE was created with support from the Centre for Digital Music, Queen Mary University of London and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (UK).
