A cracking start in Bournemouth for rounds 1 & 2 of the Zapcat racing series saw 24°C of blazing sunshine on the beach along with enough surf to make for exciting racing just off shore. With two rounds of action packed Zapcat racing, and thousands of spectators enjoying the sunshine on the beach, the weekend went off with a bang - quite literally when a couple of cats collided and burst their side tubes!

Predator Technologies VX360 Actioncams were perfect for filming the tightly packed racing close up, providing for great footage as the racers jostled for position. The VX360’s were easily placed and set up within minutes before each race at various positions around the Zapcats including on the drivers’ helmets, engines and on the cat’s nose cones, a notoriously difficult position to mount any camera equipment.

The simple set up using the VX360’s live video screen to line up the camera in its unique mounting system provided fine grain control in 360 degrees and enabled just the right shots to be obtained.
