The WJ Group asked Humanoid to document their installation of the 2012 Olympic Lane in Central London. The top priority was to create a memento of the once-in-a-lifetime contract to share with their staff and partners, while capturing footage of the specialist products and services involved to use for promotion.
We used a 2-man crew to ride along with WJ’s technicians for the month, shooting candid blog-style interviews and using our exclusive access to capture an inside perspective of the 2012 preparations. We separately set up polished, corporate shots of key services on location around the capital for marketing use.
The feature-length documentary was an entertaining souvenir packed with colourful characters and memorable moments. It was screened for WJ staff in cinemas across the country. The promo footage is used across WJ’s video marketing, and their partners 3M and Dow requested their own edits of Humanoid’s footage.
