Sacred Run
On March 11, 1996 a select group of runners from the United States, Russia, Japan, Poland and Australia embarked on a 2,600 mile run from Huntington Beach, California to Atlanta, Georgia. This was Sacred Run, The Longest Run III founded by AIM co-founder Dennis Banks. The runners ran 30 miles a day from city to town through California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Alabama and Georgia. This video is the opening trailer to a feature documentary produced by the Aveda Corporation, The Sacred Run Foundation and directed, shot and edited by Erik Gandolfi.
